Speridian is seeking a HIPAA Compliance Expert and a seasoned Project Management Consultant with extensive experience in the healthcare sector. Expertise in HIPAA compliance and healthcare IT, with a proven track record of leading successful projects and contributing to industry advancements. This role is remote but requires West Coast business hours.

Role and Responsibilities:
•HIPAA Compliance: develop and administer HIPAA-compliant programs, staying abreast of regulatory changes, and implementing best practices.
•Project Management: Proficient in managing large-scale, complex projects using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
•Stakeholder Management: Skilled in liaising with healthcare stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
•Policy Development: Experience in crafting and reviewing healthcare policies and procedures to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
•Training & Development: Proficient in developing and delivering training on HIPAA-covered information and compliance.
Must have for contact compliance purposes:
Requirement 1: Minimum of 24 months of work experience, in the last five years, working on a job or an engagement that included performing a compliance review or audit of HIPAA laws, rules, or policies. or Minimum of 24 months of work experience, in the last five years, working on a job or an engagement that included providing training or developing workplace policies/procedures on the dissemination or protection of HIPAA-covered information.
Requirement 2: Minimum of 24 months of experience, in the last five years, working on a job or an engagement that included managing or communicating with healthcare stakeholders. Stakeholders are defined as parties that use or disseminate protected health information.
Requirement 3: Minimum of 24 months of experience, in the last five years, working on a job or an engagement that included analyzing and documenting the laws, rules, or policies regarding protected health information.
